From the center of Alicante we will travel to the interior of the Marina Baja, a region distinguished by its beaches and valleys and mountain landscapes. We will focus precisely on its highest altitude areas, stopping in the beautiful town of Guadalest. The adjectives regarding its beauty are not an exaggeration, since the town belongs to the prestigious Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain, formed by a few chosen ones. We will ascend to its hill to visit the Castle of San José, a medieval fortress from which we can see the valley at your feet. Then you will have free time to visit the miniature museums of Guadalest on your own, another of the main tourist attractions of this town of just over 200 inhabitants. Then we will make a stop in the vicinity so you can have lunch freely. In the second part of the tour we will meet the incredible Fuentes del Algar. This fascinating natural landscape is formed by spectacular waterfalls that provide great biodiversity to the environment. In fact, the springs of Algar are declared as a Protected Humid Zone due to its great environmental wealth. After admiring these waterfalls, we will return to Alicante following the outline of the Costa Blanca.
